Save Angel Meadow and the Lowry Steps

A current planning application is seeking to remove historic features around Angel Meadow and St. Michael's Flags, features that are a vital part of our city's heritage.

We know that this Labour Council has already approved several 20-storey buildings that will eventually overshadow the park. But now they want to rip up the steps that Lowry painted, the cobbled streets that the matchstick men and women walked on, and tear down the foundations of buildings that are a testament to our shared industrial heritage.
